Bella Needs Your Help
Bella’s 4 month stay at the shelter so far has been a constant challenge for our Vets to find out what has been causing her poor health. After exploring multiple different possibilities, Bella was diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism and began the medication straight away.
The medication, which is generally very successful in the management of the condition, caused unpredictable complications and could have been fatal had it not been stopped immediately.
She has since recovered, and is now on a special diet which will hopefully help her temporarily, but is still battling with poor health because of her condition. This unfortunately means that Bella’s Hyperthyroidism cannot be treated in the usual way, and instead the only way to give her the chance at a healthy life is a costly one-off specialist treatment that will cost close to $2,000.
This is where we need your help: we will cover as much of the cost as we can, but we can’t do it alone.
If you are in the position where you can make a donation – big or small – to help us get Bella feeling herself again so she can happily live out the rest of her days in a loving home, please do take the time to make a contribution.
Any amount you are able to donate will be so greatly appreciated.
