Description

This special young lady is looking for an experienced and dedicated dog owner. 

Meisha is a very intelligent and energetic young dog who has unfortunately been left to her own devices for most of her life so far. Because of this, she finds it difficult to ‘switch off’ at times, and will need a bit of extra guidance and assistance from her new owner to keep her happy and healthy both mentally and physically. 

This clever girl absolutely loves food and toys, and excels at learning new things. Having had little stimulation in her previous home, it’s important that Meisha has lots of enrichment and mentally challenging activities (like training or dog sports) in her new home. 

Meisha has been spending her time at home with our trainer where she is slowly but steadily improving on her dog interactions, and is learning to really enjoy some downtime in her crate. Once she settled into the home environment, it didn’t take long at all before she was embracing her couch potato side and snuggling up to her foster mum for some quality pats at the end of the day. 

She would do best in a relaxing household with adults only – preferably who have had in-depth experience with working dogs or reactive dogs and are willing to utilise a crate. 

Meisha will not cope being left in a backyard for long hours – particularly with dogs next door, and would prefer her owner to be away from home for part-time working hours at most so she doesn’t get bored. She is not suitable to live with other animals or people under the age of 16.
