🐕Adoption Tail Tuesday!🐈

“Fanta is settling well. He is a very bouncy happy boy who loves everyone and food, always food lol!

We took him to the vet to go over his condition and what to do moving forward. My vet said that as it has moved up the lymph node in the groin, it is moving quicker than they can treat it. She said we could put him on chemo tablets, but said the side effects are not great and it would not be a cure. Not great news unfortunately and we decided against the chemo tablets as we want him to enjoy whatever time he has left.

The vet also taped his tail as it was bleeding and as he is more settled, when we take the tape off tomorrow, we are hoping it won’t be a problem for him.

He loves walks and we take him out for a big walk everyday and he is starting to settle into our routine and bed times and has become part of the family.

He loves the cats. Our older one is not impressed, but coming around. The little kitten is not worried about him and he gets to close, the kittens just bops him on the nose.

He has shown little interest in the chickens, just a bit of curiosity. He is more interested in being in the company of people.

He really is a great boy and I feel so grateful at having the opportunity to take care of him 💖!”
