Monkey/Beni

Good morning,

Thankyou for contact, we’re doing really well with Monkey. After some deliberating we’re going with Beni as his new name, but as he relaxes and starts to explore our house and get comfortable jumping around furniture I can see where the name comes from.

He was very chilled the first few days lapping up pats and even cuddles from me and my daughter, but he has been getting more energy he’s been enjoying more time playing with my son who’s become his personalized toy maker!

He’s also eating normally now, a little slow the first 2 days but now regular.

We have had some issues with him getting scared with loud noises like the vacuum, running under the back corner of the couch and unfortunately jumping up the chimney once (so we both got a bit sooty getting him down off a ledge inside – which i didn’t know was there). So we have put up a temporary solution (since he’s so tiny and can get past the normal fire guard) and will look at a long term one that looks nicer.

We’re very happy having his sweet face and company, and get lots of enjoyment playing with him.
