Dan

This handsome young boy is hoping that you will be his future family!

At 7 months of age, Dan still has lots of growing to do. He is a typical bouncy and cheeky puppy, but is a sweet boy who enjoys some quality one-on-one time with his people.

Dan is able to make friends with other dogs and has had some nice playdates while at the shelter, though can be reactive towards them initially. He may be able to live with another well-socialized dog in the home, but it is important that his new owners continue providing him with positive, controlled dog meets so that his socialization can keep improving.

Dan has some laxity in the ligaments of his hock joints, which should resolve on their own as he grows and his joints continue to develop. This does mean that his exercise will need to be somewhat limited in the meantime, so that he isn’t doing anything too vigorous.

If he were to go home with another dog, it may require some management for the first 12 months or so until Dan is fully grown, as too much rough and tumble play could cause damage to his developing joints.
