Jed

Jed is a very big but very sweet boy who loves nothing more than to lean up against his human’s side. He can be a bit nervous with new people, so will need to get to know his new owners with multiple visits at the shelter before he’s happy to go home with them. He would do best in a quiet home with only one or two people.

Jed is learning to walk beautifully on his halti, but can still forget his strength in moments of excitement, and will need a strong and confident person to make sure that they’re the ones walking Jed, and not the other way around. Though he is generally a gentle giant, we recommend an adult only home for Jed.

Jed does enjoy meeting other dogs, but needs time to warm up to them. He would enjoy having a couple of dog friends to go on walks with, but isn’t suited to off-lead play at this stage, and needs to be the only pet in his new home.
