This clever young girl is looking for her new best friend!
Lola is an active and energetic dog who loves to be kept busy. She does struggle to regulate her excitement levels at times, so is looking for a home where she will be given lots of calm activities where she will be challenged to use her brain without getting overstimulated.
Lola very rarely got walked for the first year of her life, so she does get quite reactive when seeing other dogs out and about. She’s been working very hard on this while at the shelter and is improving every day, though she will need an owner who is experienced with reactive dogs and will be committed to continuing with her training. That being said, Lola does like to make new dog friends with gradual introductions and would enjoy having another dog in her new home. A good furry match for her would be a dog who likes to play but doesn’t have an overly rough or rude playstyle.
Due to her needing a bit of management while on walks, if Lola went home with another dog, it would mean that there would need to be one person to walk each dog, or they would need to be walked separately for the time-being.
Lola is looking for a home with adults only and will need a yard with secure fencing.
