Handsome Tofik is on the lookout for an experienced and loving family to take him under their wing.
Tofik is an intelligent and switched-on young dog who loves to learn. He would thrive with someone who is experienced with the Border Collie or working dog breeds, and will be able to provide him with lots of mental and physical stimulation to keep him on his toes.
This boy loves to play fetch and is not suitable for off-lead walks, so will need an enclosed yard in his new home. He can also be very nervous when it comes to travelling, so may not be the dog for you if you are wanting to go on lots of adventures in the car.
Though he can be a tad nervous when meeting new people, Tofik is quite social with them once he’s comfortable, and can be quite a sweet boy. He will need to continue working on his dog socialization in his new home, and will need to be a single pet.
Tofik came into our care on behaviour medication, and has been on it for some time. It will be up to his new owners to speak with their vets about the possibility of weaning him off this medication once he has settled into his new home.
