Simba
🐈 Adoption Tail Tuesday! 🐕
“We are really happy that Simba has joined us – I think even our other dog, Remy is pleased!
Simba had his stitches removed last week and he is much happier without his cone or blowup pillow around his neck. His wounds are healing well including the sore on his neck and we tend to leave his collar off at home to help this heal, along with some cream.
He is eating all his food and loves his walks – at least twice a day, sometimes we sneak in an extra one. He also has a passion for dog cookies made by one of our neighbours – he is very happy eating Remy’s portion of them as well.
He is meeting the dogs of the neighbourhood on his walks and generally he wants to go and meet them but then decides a quick meet and greet is all he wants. Unfortunately, the wet weather has curtained trips to the dog park but he seems to love balls – hiding them in his beds!
I hope he is not too bored with us during the day. I go out and play with him every so often whilst working from home but he seems happy snuggled into his bed or he loves playing on the sofas!
I am planning on starting classes with him just so we get a better understanding of Simba but he seems pretty happy right now. He loves going out in the car as he can see everything whilst sitting and is winning hearts with friends and family. He is such an affectionate dog, loves a snuggle and likes nothing better than curling up with you on the sofa.
I have attached a few more photos – we haven’t seen him smile as such yet but he is such a good dog.” 💙
