This cheeky chap is looking for a mature family!
Iko can be quite nervous when meeting new people, but with a little bit of bribery and patience, he’ll have deemed you as a friend in no time. This does, however, mean that any potential adopters will need to be prepared to visit him at the shelter multiple times before taking him home.
Once he warms up, Iko loves to show off his goofy personality, often attempting to persuade you into some silly play or offering a friendly “woo”. He does become quite cheeky once he gains some confidence, and can be a bit mouthy.
Iko will require an adult-only home, and would benefit from an owner who has experience with arctic breeds. He is not suitable to live on a property with or near livestock or pocket pets.
