Description

Zelda is still waiting…

This sensitive young girl is searching for her person—someone patient, kind, and ready to help her feel safe in the world.

New people, loud noises, and sudden movements can be scary for Zelda, but once she trusts you… she’ll be your sweetest little Staghound shadow.

We’re starting to see her personality shine—gentle, affectionate, and even a few playful moments with toys

Zelda is looking for a calm, adult-only home where someone is around most of the time. She’ll need to be your one and only, with an owner who can read her cues and support her confidence journey.

Any potential adopters will need to be prepared to come and meet her multiple times at the shelter before taking her home, just to make sure she’s comfortable. Zelda is a little more cautious of men than women, so it takes her a bit longer to warm up to them.

She’s waited long enough—could you be the one to choose her?

If you would like to meet sweet Zelda, please fill out the expression of interest form linked below.
